I would recommend that you see a doctor. He/she would be able to look at a white patch in the mouth and talk to you about your anxiety. Doesn't have to be a dentist. There are many harmless white patches that can appear in the mouth but it's good to see about them. Nobody here is a doctor so we wouldn't be able to identify it from a picture.

I wish I had been as vigilant as you about my mouth because I (and my various dentists) let things get way out of control.

Go to the dentist too!!! But do see someone soon to put your mind at rest. Good luck:)


1996, ovarian cancer surgery + cisplatin and taxol.
September, 2007, SCC of left lateral tongue. Excision.
October, 2009 recurrence in scar tissue, T1NOMO. Free flap surgery from left wrist - neck dissection. 63 year old New Zealander. No chemo, no RT.
February, 2014. New primary in left buccal mucosa. Marginal mandibulectomy, neck dissection, right arm free forearm flap. T1N0M0 but third occurrence and some areas of concern: RT started 8 April and finished 19 May.
