Chances are - at your age it's unlikely you have HPV related oc. Firstly it tends to take a long time to manifest into oc (most of our members who've had this type of OC are late 30s +) - secondly - it's only two or three strains of HPV - 16 being the primary culprit - out of MANY that actually cause OC. 80 percent of the earth's population has HPV but only a few actually end up with HPV related OC.

That said - if you are concerned go to an ENT have it checked out. and do keep a close yet on things later in life if you have had HPV 16.

The younger people on this forum 14-30) who have had battles with OC - have had NON HPV related and I think I can honestly say none of them have had it in their tonsils - HPV related cancer is usually found in tonsils, and base of tongue (throat area) where as non HPV is usually - gum, cheek, tongue. Though nothing with cancer is 100 %.
