Cryslyn81,

Almost 20 years ago, my father in law jaw bone cancer was detected by a dentist who urged him to go to the ent who worked fast to detect the culprit. Surgery was in the schedule before we had time to have a choice of doctor.
Everything turned out ok for my father in law.

Fast forward to my husband who just had some lymph nodes removed from his neck two days ago and a glossectomy last year. He started with what appeared to be a canker sore that he endured for over a year until it bothered him so much when he ate that he saw the doctor for it. He never vomited, but the pain became unbearable.

There's no much I can do to change the situation, but I'm being encouraging and supporting to my husband.
Oh, I also taped the doctor's comments before and after the surgeries.

Try to keep a cool head and a positive attitude.

Blessings,
Patty
