Hi All,

Recent newscasts and articles are highlighted the Roche Cobas Test (based on DNA?) as a potential better means of detecting HVP 16/18 testing for risk of cervical cancer. Since the HPV strains are the same ones that can cause oral cancer (as well as rectal cancer), I wonder if the test or similiar would/could be used in our cases also. I havent' seen any articles linking the testing outside of cervical cancer, but wonder if anyone here has more info/insight/thoughts?

Thanks,
Nancy
