Hi all

Had a biopsy nine months ago for a typical looking ulcer on floor of mouth. Came back negative for cancer and since then has looked like a blue gunky circular area. The oral surgeon checked the site many several times and was happy with it as it was healed to some extent. Last week he saw it had turned into a hole. It looked much like what it looked like after the original biopsy. So now he took another biopsy. I guess im wondering if anyone else has experienced a biopsy of that site? The skin there is very thin and im hoping the skin simply came off and it is scar tissue, as in the hole never fully healed. Is this common after biopsy? Results hopefully end of week. Im thinking would they really have got a false negative of such a thin area of the mouth last year? Worried x
