Greetings,
I found an interesting article in Science Daily about helping Mom's with their problem-solving skills after a child's cancer diagnosis: Moms Benefit from Problem Solving Skills Training
As it turns out, helping the mom benefitted the whole family. For all caregivers, as well as for patients managing their own care, OCF provides an important resource for problem solving. Thinking in terms of 'how do we handle this bump in the road' is both productive and empowering - and is a skill we can all work on.
