Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | With the sore being there for a month I would suggest finding either another oral surgeon who will do the biopsy or request it from your current one. Any sore that has been in your mouth for over 2 weeks should be checked out by a professional. It could be all kinds of things besides cancer but only thru a biopsy will you know for sure. You can also get checked by an ENT who sees oral cancer patients, they can biopsy too.
