Just read an article in my local paper about brides trying to lose weight before their weddings. One of the more extreme methods was to use a feeding tube temporarily so they would slim diwn to fit into their wedding dress. This article made me furious. It seemed tp make a mockery of those of us who had to use a tube for survival during and after our treatments. Why on earth a doctor would allow someone do do this simply for the sake of vanity is beyond me. Just wanted to vent!
