thank you for responding. a brief recent history as follows. dull pain 1 inch right of center 7 inches down from top of shoulder. About 6 to 8 weeks after the pain started went to G.P. on 3/5/12 requested an x ray results were all clear. The next morning going through the routine of removing phlegm old & new blood appeared. went back to the G.P. to suggest a reavaluation of the x ray she suggested a ct. that i will be taking today.

to answer your question Cheryld the gastro doctor that place my peg at that time had seen no evidence of ulcers.

normaly small amuonts of blood wouldnt bother me but with the combination of upper chest pain and blood and cancer history i have been weighing the odds.
