Hi Brian and to all who would please email my sister Linda. She is having a difficult time today. She is not responding to her chemo, so they have decided to try her on a trial drug. Have you heard of it ... Aressa? She is feeling very sad today she got out of bed and looked at herself and shook her hands up towards her face as to say, "look at me!!!! Oh, my, look at me!!! " I said, "I know Linda who must be very angry as I am and asking why this is happening to you, and I don't have the answer as to why. But, please Linda, let's go to your chemo appt. today and please hang in there please." I don't want her to have any negative feelings that she has run out of choices as to treatments and that she really can beat this. I feel so at a loss of words for her, I want to scream, I want to yell at someone, and ask why Her, she has two children with so many questions....and asking I want my other mother back, I want a normal mother like my friends have...please if you have any advice and positive thoughts for her please email She has Advanced Recurrence SCC of the Head and Neck. Started on her tongue, then base of tongue, now a tumor on the base skull, which is the one that is not responding, but trial treatments work and she needs to hear that and have hope and continue as she has for the last 3 years. She is a young 37 year old mother, sister, daughter, friend, cousin and wife...she is a beautiful person and I would appreciate your help. Thank you so much from the bottom on my heart. Flo XoX
