Any time you have a sore inside of your mouth for 2 weeks or longer it should be checked by a dentist, ENT or oral surgeon. I do not want to scare you but my cancer looked exactly like a canker sore inside of my left cheek.
Most important is to get rid of the skoal. The skoal could be irritating this area or it could have caused a cancerous tumor.
Weather you are working or not, do not put this off. If the sore has not healed you MUST get it checked before it gets worse and if it is cancer it would be much more difficult to treat.
