Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I have to pass this one on. I hope some can use it. Mix some Cream of Wheat in with Peach Oatmeal and make sure you use enough water to keep it from getting too thick. Nuke it for about a minute and a half. make sure it doesn't boil over by stopping it when it is coming to the top of the bowl,and stir. When it is to the right consistency, take it out and put some Ensure in it. I bet you will like the taste and enjoy it. Like that old cook says on TV. Ummmmmmmmmmmm good.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
