Just got back from my three month checkup with my prosthodontist
He was doublchecking my left mandible because of a comment by the MRI radiologist when he asked me if I had been having a tickling feeling there. I had indeed.
Turns out that the flap from my wrist that was grafted onto the tongue reconstruction had finally sprouted hair that grew long enough to tangle up the mucous and hold it all,
Using tweezers he gingerly pulled and twisted until a nice solid slimy mess of hair and mucous came out. Feels much better now.
Wonder what will happen to my tongue this Friday when the full moon happens
