So Michael is getting close to 4 years post treatment (12/05/06 last treatment date). His scans have been good except for various abnormalities they see re: cysts, neck problems - probably arthtis, etc. But not cancer. Biggest on-going issues are getting tired way earlier in the day than he ever used to be pre-cancer and head, neck and face swelling. He has gone for lymphedema treatments and was doing his massage and exercises regularly for a while, stopped doing them and has now started again, and some dental issues he has had several deep cleanings, gotten a crown , teeth and gums supposedly look good now, but he still complains about swelling in his neck and face. Is there anything more we should do about it? I think he should have been continuing regularly with the exercises and massages, but it was hard to convince him of that. He decided it didnt help at one point after one of the dental cleanings really seemed to help the swelling and he stopped the exercises and massage and it came back. Is it something he will have to live with? Thank you.
