I am on the planning committee for the 2nd Oral Cancer Awareness Walk of the Lehigh Valley, PA. The walk is in Bethlehem, PA and for those not familiar with the beautiful Lehigh Valley it includes the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton and is located about one hour north of Philadelphia.

The walk is 3 miles long and will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010, which is a perfect time of year in Pennsylvania to hold this type event the fall colors should be near their prime and the temperature should be perfect.

If you are an OC survivor or caregiver and live in this area, we could really use your help to make this walk a success. We need help getting the word out and securing sponsors for the event. If you want to get involved, please let me know.

The committee consists of some long term OC survivors (over 10 years), so it is certainly worth coming to the event to meet others who have faced this disease and survived!

Thanks!

Susan
