I had the tori removed Friday the 5th of March. Of course the side I will have the radiation on is the one not healing. My current concern is that when I touch my tongue to my implant it hurts down in the root/jaw area. I am thinking that when they removed the Tori the implant became loose? If so will they be able to secure it somehow or should I be prepared to have it removed? Also, I will be 7 weeks since surgery this Wednesday. They do the simulation tomorrow which means they will start the radiation next week. I have been told that the optimum is 6 weeks after surgery. I am already pushing 8. If they remove the implant then I suspect the radiation will be moved back another 2 weeks. At what point is it too late to do the radiation??
