I tolerated the first radiation well, plus the 2nd dose of radiation (30 treatments) was to the other side of my neck and was nearly 4 years later. They decided to go with it as I didn't have alot of options at that point. While it is unusual to have radiation twice -it can happen and be successful. Each human handles it differently. My bone densities, age, weight, etc. were all in my favour of going for a 2nd round.
